A pretty June wedding took place at St. John's Church, Osgoode, on Wednesday morning. June 27, of Miss Mary Kathleen, youngest daughter of Mr. William Kelly, to Mr. Patrick Shields, son of Mrs. Thomas Shields, all of Osgoode. Rev. Father Corkery performed the ceremony. The wedding music was played by Mrs. Andrew Kelly.
The bride spoked winsome in an exquisite gown of white canton crepe and large white hat daintily trimmed. She was attended by Miss Ida Shields, sister of the groom, who was charmingly attired in mauve silk crepe and wore Leghorn hat with mauve trimmings.
Mr. Austin Kelly, brother of the bride, was best man.
The groom's gift to the bride was a pearl-set pendant, to the bridesmaid an onyx ring with pearl setting, and to the groomsman cuff links.
After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's father, only the immediate relatives being present. The floral decorations in the home were most attractive.
The bride travelled in a brown costume with hat to match. On their return Mr. and Mrs. Shields will reside at Osgoode.
