The bride was given in marriage by her father and was attended by her sister, Miss Rita Daley, as bridesmaid. LAC Emmett Guilfoyle, R.C.A.F., of Hagersville, was best man. Mr. Patrick Daley, brother of the bride, and Mr. Angus Guilfoyle, brother of the bridegroom, were ushers.

The church was decorated with late Autumn flowers and ferns. Mrs. I. Houlahan played the wedding music and Miss Gertrude Guilfoyle sang several solos.

The bride wore a daytime costume of Royal blue velvet with effective shirring at the shoulders and marking the waistline, and three-quarter length sleeves. She wore a matching turban and a corsage bouquet of Sweetheart roses.

Following a reception at the home of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Guilfoyle left for Toronto and Niagara. The bride travelled in a light blue crepe dress, a black cloth coat with a squirrel collar and a blue hat.
